Add Stamps to PDF

An accounts payable clerk processes fifty vendor invoices every week, each as a PDF. Once an invoice is paid, it needs to be marked to prevent accidental duplicate payment. Printing each one to stamp it physically and scan it back is a ten-minute task per document. A legal team distributing a superseded contract needs every page marked VOID before archiving. A quality inspector approving a batch report wants the word APPROVED on the final page with a timestamp. All three situations need the same thing: a precise, positioned stamp applied to a PDF quickly, without uploading a financial or legal document to an unknown cloud service.

This tool provides ten-plus pre-built rubber stamp options including APPROVED, CONFIDENTIAL, DRAFT, VOID, and more, with full control over color, size, opacity, rotation, and which pages to apply them to. Choose a stamp, click the PDF to place it, and download. The stamps are embedded directly into the PDF as vector text and rectangle objects using PDF-Lib. Nothing is uploaded to any server.

How It Works

1. Upload your PDF by dragging it onto the upload area or clicking to browse. The document renders in the stamp canvas with page navigation controls. Browse through the pages before placing any stamps to confirm layout and find the target positions.
2. Select a stamp and configure settings using the Choose Stamp panel to pick from the pre-built options (APPROVED, CONFIDENTIAL, DRAFT, VOID, and others). In the Settings panel, choose a stamp color, set the size in pixels (140px default), adjust opacity (80% default), and select a rotation angle: 0° for straight horizontal, -30° or -45° for left-leaning diagonal, +30° for right-leaning, or 90° for vertical. Set the Apply to option: Current page, All pages, Odd pages, or Even pages. The Apply to setting determines how many pages receive the stamp when you click to place it.
3. Click to place and save by clicking anywhere on the PDF canvas to drop the stamp at that coordinate. Drag to reposition. Drag a corner to resize. Multiple stamps can be placed in the same session; each appears in the Placed Stamps list before saving. Click Save PDF with Stamps to embed all stamps as vector objects in the document. Download immediately on completion.

What to Be Aware Of
