What This Tool Does Not Do
This tool adds new text overlays to PDF pages. It does not edit or replace existing embedded text in the original PDF document. For visible text corrections on flat PDFs, place a text box with a white background over the original text and type the replacement value on top. For filling interactive AcroForm fields in PDFs that already have clickable form fields, use the PDF Form Filler tool instead.
File Size Limits
All processing runs in-browser via PDF-Lib with no server upload, so no external size cap applies. Vector text boxes add minimal file overhead. Very large multi-page PDFs take a moment to render in the canvas but process fully on any modern browser. Adding many text boxes on the same page does not significantly increase output file size since each text box is stored as a lightweight vector path object.
